The first installation of Superblue Miami is a colorful, immersive, and interactive work by James Turrell. Visitors enter an underground world of monochrome lighting and are immersed in a space that alters their sense of depth. Another interactive installation, Forest of Us, by Es Devlin, lets visitors walk through a mirror maze and interact with soap bubble clouds. Guests can also purchase complimentary branded ponchos to wear in the rain, which they can take home as a memento. However, be aware that tickets to these exhibits are limited and you’ll need to purchase an add-on ticket to enter.
The Superblue Miami gallery has several different exhibits. Meadow is the first installation, featuring hanging flower blooms, and it serves as a diversion for visitors. This immersive work is accompanied by a film and interactive installation, which takes attendees through four changing seasons. Although the gallery does not feature a permanent exhibition, it will be open for two weeks in March. There’s an additional $12 ticket that allows visitors to watch the installation from an indoor viewing area.

The Superblue Miami gallery is the first of the experiential art centers. The museum’s tagline, “Imagine a new world,” is a clever way to describe the work of artists. The artworks at Superblue Miami invite visitors to participate in various activities, including playing in the soap bubble cloud and walking through a cloud room. Guests are encouraged to explore the installation and take pictures, as well as to participate in the onsite gallery tours.
The gallery is an experiential art center that offers visitors an immersive experience in art. Its first exhibit, called Meadow, is a floral extravaganza. This installation serves as a diversion for visitors, with its hanging flower blooms forming a tangle of intricate strands. It is the first of its kind in the world. The installation is so interactive that it requires the participation of visitors. At Superblue, guests are encouraged to move through it in the order of the seasons, rather than simply watching it.
